Infrared Cabin Camera – Ideal for Taxis & Private Hire
The included Thinkware Infrared Cabin Camera has been specifically designed to record the interior of the vehicle.
Featuring Full HD 1080p recording, infrared LEDs and a wide 160° viewing angle, it can capture a wide view of the driver and passengers.
During the day, the cabin camera records in colour. In dark or low-light conditions, the built-in 940nm infrared LEDs allow it to continue capturing clear footage inside the vehicle – making it particularly useful for taxi and private hire drivers working at night.
This package includes a 32 GB microSD card, and we provide free nationwide professional installation so your dash cam is fitted, configured, and ready to go. Optionally, you can upgrade your system with the Thinkware iVolt Mini or iVolt Pro external battery pack, installed at the same time as your camera. This upgrade extends your parking surveillance capabilities, giving continuous recording even when your engine is off, without draining the car’s battery.
The infrared cabin camera is designed to provide reliable recording both day and night. During daylight it captures footage in colour, while built-in 940nm infrared LEDs automatically provide clear interior recording in extremely low-light conditions, making it particularly useful for taxi and private hire drivers working during the night.
The F790 offers advanced Parking Surveillance including Motion & Impact Detection, Time Lapse and Energy Saving Mode. These features allow the dash cam to continue protecting the vehicle while parked, automatically capturing important footage if movement or an impact is detected while you are away.
Built-in GPS and dual-band Wi-Fi provide access to additional smart features and easy smartphone connectivity. Using the Thinkware Dash Cam Link app, users can view and download recorded footage, check the camera's live view and adjust settings directly from a compatible smartphone without removing the memory card.
